Narasimha Jayanthi

Vaishakha month is occasioned with spiritual and traditional customs. Lord Vishnu is worshipped in the entire month. Narasimha Navaratri is from Vaishakha Shukla Shashti to Vaishaka Shukla Chaturdasi i.e. 11/5/25   There are two familiar Solar and Lunar Dynasties.  Kashyap Rishi born in Solar Dynasty and he is the son of Marichi Rishi and Mother Kala. He is one of the Saptha Rishis in Rishi Mandal. He is married to Daksha Prajapati daughters namely Aditi, Diti, kadruva, Vinatha, Surabhi and so on.

Aditi and Kashyap rushi got a son  named Aditya (Lord Surya) and  Gods.    Diti gave birth to demons, Kadru gave birth to serpents and   Vinatha gave birth to eagles. Kashyap Rishi and Diti got two demon sons by name Hiranyakash and Hirankashyap who are Jay, Vijay as  Dwarapalaka at Vaikuntham the abode of Lord Vishnu.  They were cursed and born as demons. But they are devotees of Lord Brahma and enemy of Lord Vishnu. They are higly spiritual and performed penance to achieve their goals to defeat all gods to occupy their abode.  In each and every Yug Lord Vishnu incarnated in many forms to uphold Dharma by killing demons. The third incarnation is Varaha Avatar. Hirayanyaksh stole  four Vedas and kept under Sea. Then Varaha Lakshmi Narasimha Simha Swamy uplifted Earth and  killed demon Hiranyakash, elder brother of Hiryankashyap and brought up again Chaturvedas to mankind.  In Andhra Pradesh, India there is a temple famous as Antharvedi wherein vedas were brought up from River Godavari merges with Bay of Bengal Sea. This is the place where Vedas were kept under  this Sea known as Antharvedi in West Godavari District and famous as Varaha Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy with Goddess Rajalakshmi Devi. He is worshipped to retain  and conquer pride and Kingdom. Nowadays it is for power, position and politics.
