Siddheshwari
Devi Puran reveres devotional worship of Shakti or Devi. In Navaratri Durga Devi is worshipped in nine forms and on nineth day as” Siddhi Datri” performing pooja of Siddeshwari. According to Devi Bagavatham reciting each sloka of Durga sapthashathi itself is Mantra. Likewise each sloka of Siddeshwari kavacham is also Mantra. The underlying philosophy of Maa Siddeshwari is creation and evolution of Dasa Mahavidya through arise of her light (Jyothi). Therefore Siddeshwari is Source of Shakti for Dasamahavidya. In Tantra she has given prominent place and her devotees enjoy worldly happiness to attain siddhi and salvation. In Kamakhya peetam and Kanchi Kamakshi mutt sadhana of Siddeshwari is considered to fulfill all desires in their life. In Bihar, Orrisa and West Bengal Siddeshwari is Kuldevta.
