Ganesh Navaratri

Cartoons are made for Children to know the history of Lord Ganesh. The Ganesh Navratri is from 31/8/22 to 8/9/22. It is a global festival celebrated by all Hindus. He is worshipped by Smartas as Ganesh and Vaishnav as Vishwaksen. The unique feature is Smarta Ganesh is having horizontal three lines of Tikka and Vishwaksen is having parallel three lines i.e. Vaishnav tikka which is an important identification mark. According to Mudgala Puran Eight Avatar of Ganesh is Vakrathunda, Ekadantha, Mahodara, Gajanana, Lambhodara, Vikata, Vignaraja, Dhumravarna. In Kaliyug he is worshipped as Dhumraketu.
Let us study about eight avatars of Lord Ganesh. He is considered as Trimurthi Shakti of Brahma, Vishnu, and Shiva. Lord Ganesh reformed all demons and protected God and Goddess to uphold Dharma. Lord Ganesh reformed only after performing sadhana by God and Demon for several years. The first Avatar of Ganesh is Vakratunda. Devaraj Indra Pramada Gana gave birth to Demon Matsyar. He is a great devotee of Lord Shiva and he took Panchakshari Mantra Om Nama Shivaya from his Guru Sukracharya. He performed penance strictly and attained the darshan of Lord Shiva, Parvati with their family. Andhakasur started his demon acts with God and occupied their places to rule. They worried about his actions, then Lord Dattatreya gave Vakrathunda Ekakshari Mantra Anushtan Gam bheejakshar. Even Lord Shiva performed sadhana to stop illegal acts of Andhakasur. After completion of sadhana Lord Ganesh gave darshan in form of Vakrathunda and assured to control acts of demons.
Vakrathunda and Andhakasur continued the battle for five days but no one succeeded. Andhakasur two sons Sundar Priya and Vishaya Priya killed in battle by Vakrathunda Ganas. Then Andhakasur realized the power of Vakrathunda and took the mantra Deeksha from him. He returned all places to Gods occupied by him and he was blessed with powerful spiritual life.
Similarly, Lord Brahma was unable to create a new world. He chanted Shadakshari Mantra Vakrathundaya Hum. Then he was blessed to create a new world. Demon Dhamba was born with the blessings of Lord Brahma and he started harassing God and Goddesses. All of them approached Brahma to protect them. Lord Brahma along with Devi Devatha performed the Sadhana of Vakrathundaya Hum and pleased Vakrathunda to stop illegal acts of demons. Then Lord Ganesh sent his minister Surender to mediate and to stop his illegal acts. Demon approached his Guru Sukracharya to know about Lord Ganesh. His guru explained his power and told him to take his blessings. Demon Dhamba apologized to lord Ganesh for his illegal acts. He is blessed with good Spiritual life. An enemy is not a person but a within-person. A person’s negative thoughts and bad behavior are enemies. Vakrathunda Sadhana is important to change inimical brrrrrrr and thoughts to build a successful spiritual life.
Ekadantha
The second Avatar of Lord Ganesh is Ekadantha. Chavan Rushi created Demon Madasur. With the blessings of his Guru Sukracharya, he performed the penance of Shakti Mantra Hreem sadhana. Maa Bhagwati appeared and gave the boon to rule the universe. But being Demon, he created trouble for all God and Goddesses and occupied their abode. They requested Santhkumar Rushi to give a solution to overcome the evil acts of the demon Madasur. Then Rushi Santhkumar explained the greatness and importance of Ekadantha Ganapathi and gave them Ekadantha Mantra Sadhana to protect them from the evil acts of Madasur. They performed penance Ganesh appeared and assured them he will get back their occupied places from Demon. When Ekadantha tried to kill him, the demon became unconscious. Meanwhile, his Guru Sukracharya reached made him conscious and explained the importance of Ekadantha Ganapathi. The Demon apologized for his acts and returned to his occupied places and left to patal lok to lead a happy life with the blessings of Ganesh.
Mahodar
The Third Avatar of Lord Ganesh is Mahodar. Lord Brahma created Demon Tarakasur. With the blessings of his Guru Sukracharya, he performed penance of Panchakshari Mantra sadhana Om Namah Shivaya for 1000 years. Lord Shiva appeared and gave the boon to rule the universe with good health and fulfill all his desires in life. But being Demon, he created trouble for all God and Goddesses and occupied their abode. They requested Shanmukh son of Lord Shiva and brother of Ganesh for a solution to overcome the evil acts of demons. Then Kartikeya explained the greatness and importance of Mahodar Ganapathi and gave them Shodashakshari Mantra Sadhana Vakrathundaya Hum to protect them from the evil acts of Demons. They performed penance along with Kartikeya, then Ganesh appeared and assured them he will get back their occupied places from Demon. Lord Mahodar helped Kartikeya to kill Tarakasur and all God and Goddesses went to their places with happiness.
Gajanan
The fourth Avatar of Lord Ganesh is Gajanan. Mata Parvati created Demon Lobhasur. One day Kuber visited Kailash and saw Mata Parvati with bad thoughts. She was angry about his act and the demon. Lobhasur was born from her anger. With the blessings of his Guru Sukracharya, he performed penance of Panchakshari Mantra Om Nama Shivaya sadhana for 1000 years. Lord Shiva appeared and gave a boon to rule the universe with good health. But being Demon, he created trouble for all God and Goddesses and occupied their abode. They requested Lord Shiva to give solutions to overcome the evil acts of demons. Then Shiva explained the greatness and importance of Ganapathi and gave them Mantra Sadhana to port them from evil acts of demons. They performed penance Ganesh appeared and assured them he will get back their occupied places from Demon. When Gajanan tried to kill him, the demon became unconscious. Meanwhile, his Guru Sukracharya reached made him conscious and explained the importance of Ganapathi. The Demon apologized for his acts and returned to his occupied places and left to patal lok to lead a happy life with the blessings of Gajanan.
Lambhodar
The fifth Avatar of Lord Ganesh is Lambhodar. Lord Shiva created Demon Krodhasur. One day Lord Vishnu appeared in Mohini’s avatar and Lord shiva fall in love with Mohini. Later on, he came to know Mohini itself is Lord Vishnu. Lord Shiva was angry and Krodhasur was born. With the blessings of his Guru Sukracharya, he performed penance of Lord Surya Grunihi Surya Adityaya Om sadhana for 1000 years. Lord Surya appeared and gave a boon to rule the universe with good health. But being Demon, he created trouble for all God and Goddesses and occupied their abode. They requested Lord Ganesh to give a solution to overcome the evil acts of demons. Then Ganesh explained the greatness and importance of Ganapathi Mahatyam and gave them Lambhodar Mantra Sadhana to protect them from evil acts of Demon. They performed penance Ganesh appeared and assured them he will get back their occupied places from Demon. When Ganapathi tried to kill him, the demon became unconscious. Meanwhile, his Guru Sukracharya reached made him conscious and explained the importance of Ganapathi. The Demon apologized for his acts and returned to his occupied places and left to patal lok to lead a happy life with the blessings of Lambhodar.
Vikat
The sixth avatar of Lord Ganesh is Vikat. Lord Vishnu created Demon Kamasur. One day Lord Vishnu adored the beauty of Vrinda wife of Jalandhar. The Demon Kamasur was born with the thought of the love of Vishnu. With the blessings of his Guru Sukracharya, he performed penance of Panchakshari Mantra Om Nama Shivaya sadhana for 1000 years. Lord Shiva appeared and gave a boon to rule the universe with good health. But being Demo, he created trouble for all God and Goddesses and occupied their abode. They requested Mudgala rushi to give a solution to overcome the evil acts of the demon. Then Mudgala rushi explained the greatness and importance of Ganapathi and gave them Mantra Sadhana to protect them from evil acts of Demon. They performed penance Ganesh appeared and assured them he will get back their occupied places from Demon. When Gajanan tried to kill him, the demon became unconscious. Meanwhile, his Guru Sukracharya reached made him conscious and explained the importance of Ganapathi.
